John Sienkiewicz (sink-uh-witz) joined Carman Fullerton during the Kentucky hemp boom. He focuses his practice on criminal defense, traffic and CDL issues, civil litigation, and is specifically interested in hemp, marijuana, and the legalization (and taxation) of cannabis and what it can do for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Previously, John worked for a creditors’ rights firm out of Cincinnati and has experience with high volume civil litigation in foreclosure, student loan, and commercial loans.

John is licensed to practice law in all Kentucky courts, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. John is a member of the Kentucky and Fayette County Bar Associations. He received a Juris Doctorate from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley School of Law, where he achieved the “CALI Book Award” (highest grade) in several of his courses.

John graduated from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Arts and is a native of Troy, Michigan. He is a college sports enthusiast and eats, lives, and breathes all things University of Michigan. He cherishes life with his wife and two children. He is a soccer dad, member of Christ the King, and when he’s not in the office, you can find him on the water, on the golf course, or with his neighbors.
