Alex Farris

210 West Platt Street, Suite C
Tampa, Florida 33606

Mr. Farris’ practice at Carman Fullerton focuses on family law and immigration, including but not limited to divorce, child support, paternity, modifications, spousal support, dependency, and special immigrant juvenile status (SIJ).

Born in Alexandria, Virginia, Mr. Farris spent his youth around the world. As the son of a U.S. Diplomat, he grew up in Brazil, The Dominican Republic, South Africa, and Colombia. His mother, a Brazilian, immigrated to the U.S. when she married his father. Like many Americans today, he grew up in a multicultural, bilingual home.

During law school, Mr. Farris was fortunate to serve as judicial appellate intern at the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Florida, and served as a litigation intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida’s Criminal Division. In addition, he had the distinct pleasure of serving as a research assistant to two distinguished law professors. Mr. Farris graduated with his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Stetson University College of Law in 2014 with a Certificate in International Law. After graduation, Mr. Farris worked as a litigation associate attorney at a law firm in Pinellas County, Florida, where he handled complex family law and immigration cases.

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and experiencing the great outdoors with his wife, Amanda, and dog, Jozi.
