Ms. Church joined Carman & Fullerton as an Associate in 2015.  Her immigration law practice focuses on victim visas, spousal-based immigrant visas, fiancé visas, investor visas, provisional waivers, adjustment of status applications, and naturalization.

Ms. Church received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2009 where she was a Herring Scholar. In 2015, she received a dual-degree J.D./M.A. from the University of Kentucky’s College of Law and The Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce.

As a law student, Ms. Church was an Articles Editor for the Kentucky Law Journal and was active in the International Law Society. She also served as research assistant to Professor Joshua A. Douglas on his publication “Election Law Stories.”

Before joining Carman & Fullerton, Ms. Church enjoyed opportunities to live and work in Brazil, Costa Rica, and Argentina. During her third year of law school, she studied abroad in The Netherlands at Leiden Law School focusing on European Union Law. While in Holland, she interned with the International Development Law Organization (IDLO) in The Hague. In 2015, Ms. Church completed a virtual internship for the U.S. Department of State’s Nigerian USAID office.

Ms. Church is fluent in Spanish and continues to work on her proficiency in German. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her puppies, traveling, writing, and all things Carolina Tarheels.
